Course Reserves

Fall 2019 Deadlines:

For faculty and staff placing course materials on reserve (short-term loan) at the library:

• Monday, July 15th: Deadline for ordering reserve materials that the library does not own
• Friday, August 2nd: Deadline for placing materials on reserve

If you miss the deadline we will process the materials on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ordering Materials for Reserve:

You can use the Library Purchase Request Form or send your requests to Kallie Leonard at leonardkm@beloit.edu. Please mark your orders as "needed for reserve" and provide the course number. Let us know if you would like electronic books, if available, or if you prefer print resources.

Submitting Reserve Requests:

If you would like to put personal resources on reserve, please bring them along with the Academic Reserves form to the InfoDesk at the Library.

You can also request for library resources to be put on reserve. Please submit the reserve form to Adam Dinnes (dinnesa@beloit.edu) via email, or simply drop the form off at the InfoDesk. We will retrieve library items and contact you if we have questions.

Searching for Course Reserves:

You can search for current reserves using the library catalog.

Instructors placing materials on reserve are responsible for obtaining authorization from the copyright holder and for following all applicable copyright regulations for those materials.
