This site provides access to fully searchable scans of the original articles, advertisements, and photographs from two student publications: The Round Table and The Gold.
The Round Table, Beloit College’s student newspaper, began in 1853 as The Beloit College Monthly before changing its name in 1875. Our digitized collection spans The Round Table issues between 1960 and 1980. Issues published between 1919 and 1949 will be added in Fall 2021. Additional content will be added to this archive as it is digitized.
The Gold, the College yearbook, began publication in 1890 as The Codex. It appeared biennially until 1926, when it became a long-running annual until 2004. The 1964 through 2004 editions will be added to this archive in Fall 2021.
Original, physical copies of these publications are housed in the Beloit College Archives and Special Collections.
